Mu-sik [myoo-zik]  - An art of sound in time that expresses ideas and emotions in significant forms through the elements of rhythm, melody, harmony, and color.

Er-satz-mu-sik [er-sahts-myoo-zik] - The new musical outlet for composer/performer Shane W. Cadman, formerly with the Illustrious Theatre Orchestra.  Ersaztmusik can be electronic, acoustic, or a combination of the two.  It can be live or recorded.  There is no set instrumentation.  It is purposefully vague in order to meet the needs of the artist.
